The group that works for Apple’s store employees in Atlanta, USA, to organize their union has now suspended its application for a vote, reports Bloomberg.
According to the organization group, Apple must have been involved in various ways that have made it impossible to have a fair vote in the current situation.
“Apple has launched a systematic and sophisticated campaign to intimidate and disrupt employees’ right to organize,” the group told Bloomberg.
A spread of covid-19 among the staff should also make it more difficult for a vote.
The fact that the application is closed at this stage means that a new application can be made in six months at the earliest.
