Today Apple released the new 15.5.1 update for HomePod and HomePod mini, this update comes out a week and a half after the release of firmware 15.5 for HomePod.
According to Apple’s release notes, the HomePod 15.5.1 update fixes an issue that could cause music to stop playing after a short time.
Your HomePod will update automatically if you have auto-update turned on, or you can manually update your HomePod through Settings.
