Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied receiving a proposal for a negotiated peace from Russia. “I have heard nothing, I have seen nothing. I am convinced that they have handed us nothing,” Zelensky said at a press conference alongside European Council chief Charles Michel. Earlier on Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said a “clear and elaborate” proposal for a negotiated peace had been submitted to Ukraine. “It seems to me that he is playing football with himself,” Zelensky said regarding Peskov’s comment.
