Released 2 years ago Yupitergrad is still today one of platformers the most striking of VR. If you’ve always dreamed of becoming Spiderman and to discover the sensations, it does the job pleasantly. And it does it all the better because it adds a significant element: weightlessness! Like a Portal and armed with your suction cups, you go from room to room solving the puzzles that will arise in front of you. And if you have steely reflexes, you can afford to twirl seamlessly from one room to another, a guaranteed exhilarating effect (or uncomfortable depending on your resistance to motion sickness). The new section is therefore called Yupitergrad 2: The Lost Station.

First striking element: the polychromy of the decorations. No more bi or trichromy, the second part will be less stingy in color. Side gameplaynothing really changes except the presence of weapons and enemies, totally absent from the first episode. If the trailer is far from a game-changer or does not seem to revolutionize the genre, the information that the developers give us about the game has allowed us to get the hype train back on track. In effect, Yupitergrad 2 will be a metroidvania ! Players will be able to improve their equipment and use it to unlock new areas.

This announcement makes all the difference and revives the interest of a second Yupitergrad. Like a label, the genre metroidvania imposes a charter that will allow the title to considerably densify its gameplay and thus to stand out much more easily from the first, which only offered us a succession of obstacle courses, although fully mastered. No date has been given, but the game is announced on Quest and pc VR. In the meantime, you can discover Yupitergrad first of the name. Also be aware that a profile HQ associated with it!

If you haven’t taken the plunge yet, you can treat yourself to a Oculus Quest 2 at the house of Bakerthe Fnac, Darty or Amazon for €349.99. You can also find good PCs for gamers there.
