On this Easter day, the modder Waikuteru who has an admiration for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has just unveiled its mode dedicated to this cultural event. Called The Easter Egg Hunt, this unofficial mod allows you to embark on a great Easter egg hunt, all decked out in a magnificent rabbit costume. Link and Linkle must go to the location indicated on their map in their Sheikah tablet. When they reach this place, they are transformed into rabbits by an unknown god. This god is looking for fun and wants to observe the two characters looking for Easter eggs. However, this god also promises unique rewards…
There are 30 Easter Eggs in total and you can earn 3 unique rewards:
The Carrot Sword: This strange sword looks like a carrot and makes fun sounds. The player will earn it by collecting 5 Easter Eggs.
Heart-Shaped Shield: A shield that looks like a heart and smells like chocolate. The player will earn it by collecting 15 Easter Eggs.
Cupid’s Bow: An elegant bow said to have belonged to Cupid. Hence its pink color. It has unlimited ammo, but can only use normal arrows. The player will earn it by collecting 30 Easter Eggs.
The mod is available for free now and supports both Wii U and Switch versions of the game. Happy Easter!
