The Account service became available to users of Yandex services. With it, it will be possible to pay for various services of the company, receiving back 5% of the cost of purchases in the form of cashback.
“Account” can be opened in the “Yandex Go” application. It is currently only available to Plus subscribers, and will be available to all other users in the future. You can replenish the balance using a bank card or the “Quick Transfer System”. Yandex does not charge a commission for replenishment, but the bank that issued the card may have such a commission.
Now the money from the “Account” can only be spent on taxi rides, and then the company will allow them to pay for other services, including in the “Afisha”, “Services”, “Market” and “Food”. No more than 15 thousand rubles can be on the balance sheet at a time, and expenses cannot exceed 40 thousand rubles per month.
Until July 12, 2022, the cashback from paying for Yandex services using the Account will be 5%. In the future, the company may revise the amount of remuneration depending on its plans.
