Xbox Games with Gold: These are the free games for May

Microsoft has now also nailed it and lined up Xbox Games with Gold for the new month of May. We give you the usual overview here.

As usual, there are four full versions of Xbox Games with Gold available in May for free if you are a subscriber. Two of them are specifically for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, two more are also available for the older Xbox 360. Thanks to backward compatibility, the latter can still be played on the new consoles.

Starting tomorrow, May 1st and continuing through the end of the month, Yoku’s Island Express will be available on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. You help the tiny protagonist Yoku to rebuild the Mokumana Island post office and awaken an ancient god. To do this, you have to shoot and pinball Yoku across a hand-drawn island.

From May 16th to June 15th there is The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk for these two platforms. Here you take on the role of Robert, the last heir to the throne of the Flute Noses and have to save your dynasty.

Then, from May 1st to May 15th, Xbox 360 will also have Hydro Thunder Hurricane, an arcade racing game in which you’ll have to race across exotic waters in lightning-fast boats. Then, in the second half of the month starting May 16th, there’s Viva Pinata Party Animals, which consists of a series of party games for up to four players.
