Wolfsburg managing director Michael Meeske has warned that the young generation could turn its back on football if clubs don’t open up in the areas of digitalisation and a more modern appearance in general. Meeske told dpa that he felt “a lack of courage for change in our business and the readiness for a discussion on it” while other countries and sports are embracing the digital age much more.
