Released last week Biomotor Unitronan RPG from the Neo Geo Pocket Color range released last week, saw its lines of code being searched by extreme data miners… In this case it is a reader of NintendoLifenamed Durrdevil (who shared with them what he saw)…
This one has therefore rummaged in the game code and has, it seems, made some rather nice discoveries, concerning other Neo Geo Pocket Color games which have not yet been announced. Thus, we find in the list:
- Baseball Stars Color (Tyra pls)
- Ganbare Neo Poke-Kun (a Japan-exclusive game released in 2000, which marked the beginnings of very short mini-games, later found in the popular Wario Ware, released 3 years later.)
- The King Of Fighters: Battle of Paradise (another game exclusive to Japan, which uses KOF characters and offers a Mario Party-style system).
- Neo Geo Cup 98 Plus (A football game – released during World Cup 98 – which offers a not unpleasant RPG dimension.)
- Pocket Tennis Color (A tennis game with a very Arcade gameplay, even if a bit sparse in terms of game modes).
- Faselei! (A really interesting Tactical RPG, allowing to pilot Mechas, but released when the console was in full decline…)
Some titles hitherto unreleased with us (without going through the import box) would be good surprises (even if they are a bit old). We hope in any case that they will benefit from a translation at least in English! In your opinion, is this a Dataminer fantasy having spent too much time in the intricacies of coding… or future surprise announcements?
