Gmail, on Android, has integrated a way to refine search results and filters now appear when viewing labels or simple searches.
These new labels, which were introduced in September, make it possible to display searches using filters. When searching, a series of buttons appear below the search bar to make it easier to filter results. Among these filters, you can classify them according to the date, the sender, the recipient, if an attachment was present or even the reading status.
This function is also available from your browser.
The 9to5Google site indicates that these filters were already present during a search via the dedicated bar, but that this new version allows better access to these availabilities. Currently, if you have an iPhone or iPad, iOS users are going to have to wait a while longer.
