In early May, Google held the I/O 2022 developer conference, where it revealed the design of the upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. A full-fledged presentation of devices should take place in the fall, but a working prototype of one of the smartphones has already been posted on eBay.

An anonymous owner of one of the Google Pixel 7 prototypes with 128 GB of storage in Stormy Black put it up for auction with a starting price of $450. After a couple of hours, the author closed the ad. Apparently, they were interested in Google’s internal security service.

Photos of a working smartphone are attached to the lot, and in the reflection of the back of the Pixel 7, it can be seen that the owner of the device photographed it on the Pixel 7 Pro.

The further fate of these prototypes is unknown, but this is not the first time that unannounced Google devices have been sold on various platforms.
