2017 year WWII was the latest CoD which was released on Steam – but maybe not the last? Now the artwork has this year Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 aimed at Steam (via Reddit).
The tracks have been cleaned as best they can, but the internet does what the internet does: do not forget. Admittedly, it could be a mistake on the part of Activision Blizzard. On the other hand: the deal with Microsoft could speak for a Steam comeback. As you know, Microsoft has started releasing its games on Steam as well. It’s also no secret that last year’s CoD: Vangurad underperformed, and a comeback on Steam might have reversed the declining trend.
In short: we do not know. In time, we will get an answer on whether it will be Steam or not CoD.
