Qualcomm CFO Akash Palkhiwala said at the JPMorgan Chase JPM conference recently that Qualcomm will adopt a diversified foundry strategy in the future. If Intel’s technology roadmap is implemented smoothly and appropriate cooperation conditions can be provided, Qualcomm will cooperate with it. Qualcomm said that its long-term diversified foundry strategy has effectively responded to the rise in foundry prices in the past few years, and it will continue to adopt this strategy in the future. Palkhiwala also said that we may be one of the few large semiconductor companies with a dual sourcing advantage. TSMC and Samsung have both worked for us before, and the number of orders we have in these two companies will continue to change over time. Palkhiwala stressed that Qualcomm would be happy to work with Intel if they can execute the technology roadmap well and provide the right conditions. We work with all leading foundries to better balance profit and technology. Previously, Intel has publicly stated that it has reached a cooperation with Qualcomm on the Intel 20A process node. According to Intel, the Intel 20A process will use the new R.
