IT House April 30 news, Ubuntu Linux developer Canonical announced that,Bringing Snap Packs to the Steam Game Store Clientwhich can simplify its installation difficulty, and can be installed and used with only one line of command line.
Snap package is a new way of package management. It is similar to a container with all the files and libraries of the application. Each application is completely independent and can be installed, updated and used in different Linux distributions, such as Ubuntu, Arch, Fedora, Linux Mint, KDE Neon, Debian, etc.
Steam Snap package in one downloadContains Steam and all its dependencies, without the need for additional download and installation by the user. Steam and its games will besandboxingthe game cannot see all of the computer’s files, similar to the Steam container on Chrome OS.
