LG has started a collaboration with Disney, which has resulted in a Star Wars-branded OLED TV from LG. The TV is 65 inches large and is based on LG’s C2 OLED evo models.

LG’s Star Wars TV will come with various Star Wars backgrounds, see examples below, and a redesigned interface to control the TV. In addition to the remote control being provided with a Star Wars logo, the cursor on the TV itself must be shaped like a light saber when the TV’s menu system is used. When the TV is switched on, the TV’s traditional starting sound has also been replaced with Darth Vader’s characteristic breathing sound.

The Star Wars brand from LG will only be sold in 501 copies on the US market. LG has not yet stated what it will cost. An ordinary LG C2 OLED of 65 inches costs around SEK 30,000.

Below is a bonus clip with over 20 minutes of breathing sound from Darth Vader that may feel a little invigorating like this on Monday afternoon.
