Information to be taken with tweezers at the end of May! Once is not custom, it is on Reddit that a user evokes the future games of the Ubisoft license born in 2007.
These revelations primarily concern Assassin’s Creed Rift, the next supposed canonical episode of the saga. The game would mainly focus on parkour elements and the conflict between Assassins and Templars in a Baghdadi decor around the year 900. Contrary to previous rumors, the main protagonist would not ultimately be Basim but a brand new character. The city, at the time a great Persian metropolis of a million souls and terminus of the Silk Road, would be featured in a condensed map, equivalent in size to Havana in Assassin’s Creed 4. opus which was initially to be presented in the form of DLC would therefore turn into AAA in its own right. Its development would be ensured by Ubisoft Sofia (having been in charge of the development of the Dawn of Ragnarok, DLC of AC Valhalla) and Ubisoft Toronto and would be revealed during the Xbox conference on June 12, then gameplay should be shown during a Ubisoft Forward scheduled for early July.
Some elements evoke Assassin’s Creed Infinity whose development would have been delayed internally and whose release would not take place before 2024 at least. Altaïr fans will be pleased to learn that a remake of the original work is still in the works. Let us emphasize once again that these are rumors open to comments and debates to allow us to speculate and hope for the major video game events to come, from the Xbox conference to the Tokyo Game Show, via the Gamescom.
