Next week, Blizzard Entertainment will unveil the brand new mobile game set in the world of Warcraft. The announcement will be available in Germany on Tuesday, May 3rd at around 7pm.

Too much is not yet known about the upcoming game. Also in the Twitter announcement on the official WoW channel there is only one logo to see for the time being and the Link to website, where the reveal stream will then be live. So of course there was already some speculation about the new mobile game on the internet.

Last year Blizzard was rumored to be developing several free Warcraft mobile games at once, and there was even speculation that one of them could be a Pokémon Go-style augmented reality game set in the Warcraft universe. Like the industry insiders, among others Jez Corden from Windows Central and Jason Schreier Confirmed by Bloomberg on Twitter, there were also considerations for such a game, which was discontinued.

So for the time being only a Warcraft mobile game will be presented on Tuesday – that’s enough for now.

In general, Blizzard currently seems to be relying heavily on mobile spin-offs of established franchises. With Diablo Immortal, the famous hack-and-slash series will also get a portable offshoot on June 2nd, although it was recently announced that a PC version of the game should also be released. For the time being, however, there is only a beta version for the computer when the mobile game is released.

There is also a lot going on in World of Warcraft at the moment, because the major expansion Dragonflight, which focuses on the Dragon Islands, was recently announced. A specific date on when exactly the DLC will appear is not yet known.
