Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, more than 3 million people have fled from there to neighbouring Poland, the Polish Border Guard said on Twitter on Friday. Officials had received 3.033 million people at the official border crossings with Ukraine. It is not clear how many have remained in Poland, with many known to have travelled onward to third countries.
