By Alex Lang New York (Knewz) — What is in vogue for college admissions seems to ebb over time, but Americans say high school grades and test scores should remain the top factors. A recent poll by the Pew Research Center found that 61 percent of people say high school grades should be a “major” factor for college admission. About 32 percent labeled it as “minor” and only 7 percent said it should not be considered. Nearly 40 percent of people said standardized tests scores should be a “major” factor.
