It will be launched next year and 140,000 reservations have already been received for the car. It is celebrated, among other things, by showing a little more of it and its flat surface, which you can cover with a cover if you want. If you need to load long objects, you can also fold down the back seat and get the stuff into the cabin.
The first version called WT comes this spring and it has dual electric motors that together generate 517 horses and 834 newton meters in torque. The range should be around 65 miles. It should be possible to hang up to 3.6 tonnes on the towbar. Future even stiffer versions will, however, be allowed to pull up to nine tons.

If you have not missed it, all manufacturers should offer electric cars nowadays. Now Chevrolet presents three well-known models with just electric drive and these are the pickup Silverado, the crossover Equinox and the SUV Blazer. If we start with the Silverado EV, it does not look at all like the latest version of the Silverado with internal combustion engine. It is also built as an electric car from scratch and is therefore not based on the old chassis. It is only available as a “crew cab” with a rear seat and a fun thing is that you can fold down the rear seat and push long things into the cabin from the flatbed. If you need even more space, there is also a frunk in the front to store things in. The inside gets a screen of eleven inches in front of the steering wheel and one of 17 inches for the infotainment system. Under the shell there is an electric motor of 517 horses and 834 newton meters to take advantage of and the range should be over 640 km. On the towbar you can hang up to 3.6 tons, but if you think it is too small, a special tow package will also be offered later and it allows a full nine tons. In the autumn of 2023, the Silverado EV RST First Edition will be launched, which has twin electric motors, 673 horses, 1056 newton meters and which does 0-100 km / h in around 4.5 seconds. The booking quota for this version was filled in just twelve minutes. Silverado EV will be launched next spring and then in WT design. More versions will be announced later. In addition to this pickup, the crossover Equinox and the SUV Blazer will also be offered with only electric drive. Like the Silverado EV, these are based on the new Ultium platform and neither of them shares anything with their combustion siblings. A Silverado built in Lego!

Chevrolet has some collaboration with the new Lego movie and therefore they have built the new Silverado in full size. In Lego. Apart from a bit of the sideline, I have to say that this is a nice build! The building is thus full size and weighs 1500 kilos. 334,544 Lego pieces were used and the most common was a 2×8 red. It took 18 people 2000 hours to build the whole rasket. It was built by LEGO Master Builders in Connecticut and exhibited at the Detroit show.
