Effective April 29, 2022, some imported and domestic Model 3 high-performance electric vehicles with production dates between January 12, 2019 and March 25, 2022 will be recalled,A total of 14,684 vehicles (including 1,850 imported vehicles and 12,834 domestic vehicles).

Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will upgrade the vehicles within the recall scope to 2022.12 or later software for free through the vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology. The upgraded vehicles will be on the track. The speed unit (KM/H) will be displayed in the mode, and the user can complete the software upgrade without going to the store. For vehicles that cannot be recalled through the over-the-air (OTA) technology, Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will contact relevant users through the Tesla Service Center to upgrade the vehicle software for free. to eliminate security risks.
Emergency measures: Before the implementation of the vehicle recall, users should drive the vehicle carefully when using the track mode; and upgrade the vehicle software as soon as possible after receiving the recall software update notice.
