Marc Philipp Gemballa is the son of the well-known Porsche breeder Uwe Gemballa. Last year, he showed off the Marsien, which is a specially built Porsche inspired by the Dakar-winning 959 from the 80s. The car is based on the current 911 Turbo S and the boxer six in it, RUF has been allowed to massage up to 750 horses. If you think it is too small, you can get it with 830 horses as well. KW Automotive is responsible for the raised suspension and in “road mode” you have twelve centimeters of ground clearance which can then be increased to a full 25 centimeters for when you want to drive off-road. The entire body is made of carbon fiber and the inside consists mostly of Alcantara. You can of course get this as you want as long as you pay.
Only 40 copies will be made and all are almost sold out. You have to assist with a 911 Turbo S yourself and then this is rebuilt at a cost of 495,000 euros.

Gemballa-son releases fantastic Porsche
This is The Gemballa Marsien
Gemballa is a classic name in Porsche circles. Uwe Gemballa’s creations may not suit everyone, but they are special. Now it’s time for son Marc Philipp Gemballa to do his own thing and this is the first creation. It has nothing to do with the Gemballa brand, but is probably nicer than most that Gemballa has released before. The creation is called The Gemballa Marsien and is basically a Porsche 911 Turbo S, but has been rebuilt to look like the 959 that Porsche set up in the Paris-Dakar rally and won with. But in modern form then. Personally, I think this one is gorgeous! Vrålsnygga are also the pictures taken by Oskar Bakke, a photographer and Feber reader that we have seen nice pictures from earlier here on Feber. We received a small special delivery from him, so below are actually more pictures than can be found elsewhere.

Gemballa shows properly ruffled Porsche 911
Go on a forest trip with Avalanche 4 × 4
A while ago we wrote about Marc Philipp Gemballa, Uwe Gemballa’s son. He has started his own company that will soon present a new supercar with off-road characteristics. When this was wired out, it was not long before the company Gemballa, which is still alive, delivered a lawsuit against Marc Philipp. It may have something to do with the fact that they also have a new supercar with off-road features underway and that it got a little messy about who was behind which. At least now we get to see sketches of Gemballa’s newcomer and it’s about a properly rugged Porsche 911 called Avalanche 4 × 4. They also have a similar version of the Cayenne in progress called the Tornado 4 × 4. Gemballa’s plan is to divide its company into three different categories – Hypercar Division, Luxury Customization and Classics Division. The first builds extreme constructions such as the planned hypercar, the second rebuilds existing cars and the third takes care of maintaining and restoring current Gemballa cars. Avalanche 4.2 RS which is the white car in the last picture will be launched later this year and it will be based on both 991 and new 992. Furthermore, an updated version of GTR Evo-R Biturbo will be launched this summer and it will offer over 1000 horses.

Uwe Gemballa died
Found in South Africa
In February, there were reports that the founder of the styling and tuning company Gemballa had disappeared. The German newspaper Stern.de writes today that South African police have confirmed that the man behind the company, Uwe Gemballa, has been found dead near the capital Pretoria. There have been many rumors about Uwe’s disappearance, from the time he was kidnapped to the time he fled when the company was about to go bankrupt. However, the South African police believe that Uwe was tricked into coming to the country and then pressured for money. Uwe is said to have been involved in business with Radovan Krejcir, a Czech criminal who has been hiding in South Africa for a long time. Radovan would have persuaded Uwe to import Gemballa cars in order to smuggle large sums of euros and dollars to South Africa from Europe. At least one car, a Porsche Cayenne, has been shipped to the country with 1 million euros hidden in the car. Once the car arrived, the money was gone. Uwe’s body must have been found wrapped in cellophane and his identity must be proven.
