Wolfsburg trounced Turbine Potsdam 4-0 on Saturday to win the women’s German Cup an eighth straight year and a record-tying ninth time overall. The game was decided in the first half from two headers by Ewa Pajor and a shot from Jill Roord before Dominique Janssen wrapped up matters with a deflected free-kick after the break. It was the 40th win in a row in the competition for former two-time Champions League winners Wolfsburg who also won the Bundesliga title for now six domestic doubles.
