By Chris Rosvoglou The New York Giants will not be picking up Daniel Jones’ fifth-year option for the 2023 season. The team’s decision was first reported by NFL Network’s Judy Battista. Since the G-Men have not picked up his option, Jones will be a free agent after the 2022 season is over. This doesn’t mean the Giants are done with the Daniel Jones experiment. They’re simply keeping their options open by not committing a lot of money to him for the 2023 season.
