Staff working with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz have been hit by an outbreak of Covid-19. “In the aftermath of the chancellor’s trip to Africa, participants of the official delegation tested positive with a PCR test for Covid-19, although the rapid tests carried out during the trip and after his return were all negative,” a government spokesperson said on Saturday.
