Italy’s Martina Trevisan ended the strong run of Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich on Sunday to reach the French Open quarter-finals for the second time in her career. Trevisan failed to serve out the first set after breaking for 6-5 but did better in the nervy tiebreak where she fought off a set point. In the second she rallied from 5-3 down with four unanswered games for victory in just under two hours.
