The Year That Changed the Planet is an original documentary narrated by Sir David Attenborough. His story about how COVID-19 lockdowns around the world are affecting the environment caught the attention of the Television Academy.
The documentary was one of seven TV Academy Awards. Others included the mini-series Black and the Lost, Breaking, TV series White Crow, It’s a Sin, Reservation Dogs, and Taste the Nation: Holiday Edition.
