The latest GeForce NOW 2.0.40 update allows GeForce NOW for MacOS to fully support the Apple M1 chip and all Macs that run on it. This is very important for the overall performance of the Apple Silicon Mac. Mac M1 computers are designed for high performance with low power consumption. And this update is designed to take advantage of that. With Update 2.0.40, you can expect noticeably lower power consumption, faster app launches than ever before, and an overall improvement in GeForce NOW performance.
Members will now find it easier to find new games to play on GeForce NOW in the new Genre row in the main menu. Plus, there are useful sorting options, including the ability to view all GeForce NOW games available in specific regions. NVIDIA has also improved the streaming statistics overlay for GeForce NOW. This allows you to better see the render framerate while streaming.
Lost Ark Compatibility
Lost Ark is a new MMO that takes full advantage of GeForce NOW. With MacBook Pro M1; you can stream Lost Ark at 1600p or on an iMac at up to 1440p at 60fps. And one of the best aspects of this membership is the freedom to customize the gameplay in each game. Within each game, you can adjust individual graphics settings to enhance the experience of any game you play. This is just one of the many ways GeForce NOW allows Mac users and more than just PC gaming experiences.
