Mark Gurman of Bloomberg informed about one of the main innovations of iOS 16.

According to him, the Always-On-Display function will appear in the operating system. It will be exclusive to iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Apple originally planned to bring this feature to the iPhone 13 Pro but scrapped the plan at the last minute. The new display will significantly reduce the frame rate to display static content, as in the Apple Watch.

The iPhone 14 Pro is rumored to feature a 48MP camera for the first time. There will also be an A16 Bionic processor, and in regular models an improved version of the A15 Bionic. [9to5]
