According to the New York Post, ABC news reporter Kaylee Hartung has emerged as the “leading candidate” for the gig. Hartung, 36, joined ABC in 2019. Though she is currently a part of the Good Morning America team, she has experience working the sidelines. During her time with ESPN, Hartung covered the College Football Playoff and College World Series. She also provided coverage on the SEC Network and Longhorn Network.
