Eintracht Frankfurt players are under police investigation for using flares during the team’s Europa League title celebrations on the city hall balcony last week, the Bild paper reported on Friday. Television footage showed that players Timothy Chandler, Goncalo Paciencia und Aymen Barkok were holding flares, with fans at the packed square also lighting flares and setting off fireworks during the May 19 celebrations.
