This is a GPU-based NVMe RAID card, which is inserted into An NVIDIA A2000 graphics card can boost the performance of the SSD array to 110GB/s and 19 million IOPS.

According to GRAID, the SupremeRAID SR-1010 is the world’s fastest NVMe/NVMeoF RAID card designed to provide enterprise data centers with the global potential of PCIe 4.0 storage systems.

Traditional SSD operations require CPU, which limits performance. SupremeRAID is a GPU-based RAID card. The parallel operation capability of the latter is much higher than that of CPU, so the performance of SSD arrays is greatly improved. SupremeRAID SR-1010 supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 modes, up to 32 SSD hard drives, power consumption 70W.

According to official data, in RAID 5/6 mode, SupremeRAID SR-1010 can improve read performance to 19 million IOPS, 110GB/s throughput, and write performance to 11 million IOPS, 22GB/s throughput.

This performance is almost more than 5 times that of current high-end RAID cards, and 10-20 times that of a single SSD.

The graphics card used by SupremeRAID SR-1010 is NVIDIA’s A2000, which is an entry-level professional card released by NVIDIA last year, based on the GA106 small core,It integrates 3328 CUDA cores, 104 Tensor cores, and 192-bit 6GB GDDR6 video memory, which is slightly lower than the RTX 3060, but the power consumption is only a mere 70W, no auxiliary power supply (RTX 3060 170W).

The SupremeRAID SR-1010 will be available on May 1, but the price has not been announced.
