This year, Lego celebrates the release of various modular house constructions as Lego models for 15 years. It is about the series that Lego calls “Modular Buildings” in which they have released a long line of models that depict different buildings. Lego writes about Modular Buildings:

“In 2007, we welcomed a brand new series aimed at one of our favorite groups: Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOL). We wanted to see if it was possible to bring fans’ love of the” modularity “of 1980s castles to a completely new concept with houses that can be expanded. “

In the feature above, Lego’s creative director Jamie Bernard goes through some classic models in the Modular Buildings series, models that Lego has saved in its vault at the company’s head office in Billund, Denmark. To mark the 15th anniversary, Lego will also release the “Lego Boutique Hotel” kit as again. It can be seen in the picture below and consists of 3066 Lego pieces. It will cost SEK 2199.
