Early, early, the science fiction horror was compared The Callisto Protocol with Dead Space. No wonder then Glen Schofield, the creator and producer behind Dead Space, is one of the heaviest names behind the game. With all that said, it felt unexpected (if not skewed) that The Callisto Protocol was a part of PUBG-universumet. The twist: that’s not the case anymore.
Schofield tweet that the game is now “their own story and world”. He says that PUBG is still an incredible thing, and hints at “little surprises” in the game. But in the same world they do not take place.
Callisto Protocol released in 2022. And speaking of Dead Space: the remake comes early 2023.
