Sony plans to show a new version of its “State of Play” show soon. On June 2, the company plans to unveil new third-party games for Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. In addition, the focus should probably also be on new games for the Playstation VR2. However, one should not hope for God of War Ragnarök.

Sony has something new to announce again: The Japanese company announced in a press release that next Thursday, June 2, 2022, a new “State of Play” episode will be streamed at 11:59 p.m. This show is said to have a duration of 30 minutes.

New revelations, exclusive previews and updates

As Sony announces in a new blog post, viewers and Playstation fans can look forward to announcements, game reveals and news from around the world of Playstation. The next “State of Play” episode will be broadcast live on all Playstation channels. This includes the official one Youtube channel and the Twitch Channel. On June 2, 2022, fans and interested players should come back here and tune in.

PS5 Pro and new Xbox: Release already in 2023 at the level of Radeon RX 7700 XT?

First and foremost, surprises from third-party developers for the Playstation 5 and Playstation 4 will be shown. In addition, Sony expressly promises a first look at games for Playstation VR2 that are still in development. So a first-party title like God of War Ragnarök should probably not be shown. Another look at Final Fantasy 16 might be possible, as third-party Square Enix announced another sneak peak for Spring 2022. Without E3 2022, the next State of Play show in early June would be a fitting moment for Sony to restart the marketing machine for its products.
