A group of German environmental organizations staged a rally in Berlin Friday to raise awareness about the growing threat to the Antarctic, where warming is causing floating ice shelves to melt. The German Environmental Aid (DUH), the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition (ASOC) and others built a melting penguin ice sculpture over one and a half metres high at the Brandenburg Gate.
