Will do without a major upgrade

It’s no secret that Google is preparing to release the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. At this month’s Google I/O developer conference, the company even delivered a belated “preemptive strike” by showing off renderings of smartphones. But she did not disclose any technical details about smartphones. This was taken up by insiders who will almost certainly try to scout everything about the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro before they are announced.

Today they are ready to talk about the displays that will receive new items. So, the publication 9to5Google reported that the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will receive the same panels that their predecessors offer. It will be a duet of screens from Samsung with the S6E3FC3 and S6E3HC3 indices, respectively.

This means that the Pixel 7 will offer a 2400×1080 display with a 90Hz refresh rate, while the Pixel 7 Pro will have a 120Hz display with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels. It is known that both smartphones should receive a proprietary second-generation Tensor chip, up to 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of permanent UFS 3.1.

The main question is what innovations in terms of cameras can the company offer? At this stage, the predictions do not sound optimistic. Rumor has it that there will be no changes in terms of hardware, all improvements will be at the level of software and algorithms for photo processing.
