By Chris Rosvoglou There was a bench-clearing brawl this Wednesday afternoon between the New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals. On Tuesday, three Mets batters were hit by pitches. Less than 24 hours later, J.D. Davis was plunked in the top of the eighth inning. The Mets retaliated in the bottom of the eighth inning, as Yoan López threw up and in at Cardinals star Nolan Arenado. Arenado didn’t appreciate that pitch from López.
