LG has announced a limited edition Star Wars-inspired C2 OLED TV.
The TV will be available in a single diagonal of 65 inches. The U.S. pre-tax price is $2,299.
Differences from the regular LG C2:
- remote control with the Star Wars logo;
- stylized interface;
- exclusive Star Wars content (original storyboards and posters for iconic scenes);
- unusual packaging;
- Empire logo on the back of the TV.
The coolest thing is Darth Vader breathing when you turn on the TV.
501 TVs will go on sale. On the LG website you can register and wait for sales to start. It’s scary to imagine how much a TV will cost on resale sites. Given that there will be few TVs, it will not be easy to purchase such an instance.
