With the Masterline Edition, the people at Square Enix want to conjure up very special Final Fantasy gems in your living room together with proven figure manufacturers. The Masterline product for Final Fantasy 6 not only impresses with a high level of detail of Terra Branford and the Magitek armor, but also with a special, five-digit price.

The Square Enix Masterline Edition brings beautiful figures from Square Enix worlds directly into your figure collection, but “for a steep price”. The high-quality figure, which was once presented for the tenth anniversary of NieR, showed in a scale of 1/4 B2, 9S and A2 from NieR: Automata and was not particularly cheap at 3,099 euros. But Square Enix wouldn’t be Square Enix if the people of the Japanese developer and publisher started this project in the year of the 35th Anniversary of the Final Fantasy series could not surpass. Enter: Terra Branford and the Magitek Armor from Final Fantasy 6.

34 kilos and a five-digit price

In a scale of 1/6, the people of Square Enix presented the second Masterline edition, which will only exist 600 times worldwide (and 150 times of it in Japan alone). The hand-painted figure measuring 78cm/58cm/60cm (H/W/D), which is mainly made of polystone and weighs a whopping 34.2 kilos, shows Terra Branford (in Japanese Tina Branford) with her Magitek armor , and in an impressively high level of detail. Yoshitako Amano, designer of Tina’s armor, also oversaw the character’s design. Parts of it can even be traded if you want Terra to sit on or in the armor. Here are some pictures.

We hang on to: The Final Fantasy 6 Masterline figure is highly detailed, it’s big, it’s heavy, it’s beautiful, it’s limited. And what does it cost? Oh, just under 11,000 euros – 10,800.41 euros according to the current conversion rate from yen to euros, to be precise. Pooh! Since most Final Fantasy fans will swallow very hard and that Browser tab with the Square Enix shop close quickly. On the other hand, if you are not deterred, you can pre-order the figure, which is expected to be delivered in summer 2023, until June 24, 2022 – if the limited stock lasts by then.
