Elden Ring Update 1.04 didn’t just come with some improvements. A boss that was previously a notorious foe for players was unintentionally boosted. A new patch has now reversed this error.
Players were amazed to find themselves face to face with Malenia, Sword of Miquella after update 1.04. The boss is one of the most notorious foes in FromSoftware’s Elden Ring and has been taking down players in droves since the last update. In update 1.04 there was also a bug that affected Malenia’s self-healing.
New patch undoes boss bug
Malenia, Sword of Miquella can usually heal itself once she hits players with an attack. However, due to the bug in patch 1.04, the boss was able to heal at any time when another player was summoned to help. However, the latest update to Elden Ring, available now, reverses the overpowered error in healing. Now she can only heal herself again if she actually hits a player with her attack.
This strange bug was discovered by the player “Let Me Solo Her”, who is famous in the Elden Ring community. The player likes to leave his personal call sign in front of the boss to help his fellow players in the fight against Malenia. As his name suggests, he likes to play solo against the boss. He is dressed only with a pot on his head and with his two katanas as a weapon. The players of Elden Ring have already dedicated numerous memes to “Let Me Solo Her”. Most recently, the co-op legend was even immortalized in a mod.
