The recruitment information shows that Weilai intends to build a new factory in the United States. However, Weilai Automobile responded today that there is no information to disclose about the construction of the US factory.

According to the report,NIO is hiring for positions including overseas manufacturing park planning expertsbody craft experts (overseas projects), overseas planning and infrastructure experts, overseas logistics project managers, etc. Among them, in the job description of overseas manufacturing park planning experts, candidates are required to be responsible for 2 or more complete master plan planning projects experience ,At least 1 US project master plan planning experience; Familiar with and understand the US state policies, design specifications and planning approval process; Familiar with the US process planning and general plan planning principles.

Wei Lai’s move has been interpreted by the outside world as it will build a factory in the United States. Currently, Wei Lai has an autonomous driving R&D center in San Jose, California, and a software development team. Although NIO has entered the European market and other countries, all of them are in the form of vehicle export. The two manufacturing bases in China are located in Hefei, Anhui.

By 2025, NIO plans to offer products and services in 25 countries and regions.
