Destiny 2 – This Week at Bungie

Solar 3.0

The Season of Torment has now been released for three days and we haven’t seen it all yet. With the arrival of the 3.0 revamp of the Solar doctrine, although everything looks better than before, a few problems have arisen in all this furnace.

Just like with theAbyssal 3.0some Solar disciplines can be acquired from Ikora at the Tower before meditating with her to unlock them.

You may or may not have noticed that a few Fragments are locked. Don’t worry, this is actually intentional on the part of the developers. There are 4 Pieces which can be unlocked, but not through a quest or anything else, no.

You will be able to unlock these additional Fragments by completing a certain number of Nightmare Confinements, the new activity aboard the Leviathan wreck. But if it was that simple, I would have said so.. The goal is to achieve 20 million completions as a community, i.e. you need to complete a few Nightmare Confinementsindeed…

That being said, there is one thing to note about Fragments. There was some confusion during the Season of Torment launch and Bungie explains what happened and what is intentional. The four locked shards were always intended for this community initiative, but there was a small problem on the first day. To clarify this, the four Fragments that will be unlocked after the community effort above are:

• Empyrean Ember
• Coal Ember
• Ash Ember
• Ember of Wonders

However, some players have reported being able to receive some earlier (including me to give you an example). This is related to something the devs found in their survey that allows early access for veteran players which had previously integrated the Sol doctrine, while the newly created Guardians always locked them in.
Additionally, some players were unable to acquire Shards that should have been unlocked for everyone at the start of the Season. These players were unable to receive two shards, which were to be available on day one, called Eruption Ember and Charcoal Brand.

Fragments obtained by “error” will not be deleted from your inventory. The goal is for all six Fragments to be unlocked when we reach the community goal mentioned above.

Iron Banner

Iron Banner has undergone some changes for Season 17, and if you missed all that information, the 05/12 TWAB should refresh your memory!

So, what’s on the menu for Bracus Forge this week at Bungie?

  • From May 31 to June 7
  • July 12 to 19

reminder : The power level will be disabled and the mode Fault will replace Domination mode.

dungeon

We still don’t have any details on the new Dungeon other than its name, release date, and… The Seal. Yes, the Seal was unveiled, and not in the TWAB, but on the twitter account of JpDeathBlade.

As for the name of the Dungeon, it is called “Duality” and its release date is scheduled for… today at 7 p.m. (Friday May 27).

Charity event

Of June 3 to 10 at 4 p.m.there will be a new charity marathon for theSt. Jude’s Hospital during the celebration GCX. You can participate in the stream here !

• Dungeon Duality
  • Today at 7 p.m., the new dungeon will go live! During testing, Bungie discovered an issue where players who set their sound effects (SFX) to 0 were crashing in the activity. To prevent this from happening, players should set their SFX to at least 1 or higher until they can fix this issue next Tuesday.

• Guardian Games Emblem
  • The emblem of the Guardian Games, To You the Glorywill be distributed next week to the top 10% of players who participated in the event.
