Eintracht Frankfurt defender Martin Hinteregger has said he is set to stay at the Europa League champions after initially being told he had no future at the club. “A lot of damage has been done this year. I was told in late autumn and between the quarter-finals against Barcelona that I was supposed to go in summer,” Hinteregger told Friday’s Kronen-Zeitung in his native Austria.
