One of the things people get excited about when Apple releases an iPhone is the new color options. Rumor has it that the company may release a purple iPhone 14 Pro alongside the traditional Silver, Graphite, and Gold options. With that in mind, would you consider buying a purple iPhone 14 Pro?

For now, analysts believe that Apple will redesign the next version of the Pro iPhone again, ditching the hole-punch notch + tablet cutout. For the most expensive phones, the company is said to support the same two sizes: 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays.

Yesterday, graphic designer Jan Zelbo and YouTuber Jon Prosser has released renders of an alleged purple iPhone 14 Pro based on leaked CAD and schematics previously also reported.

It’s important to note that Apple has released purple iPhones in the past, the latest being the mid-cycle iPhone 12. A few months ago, the company introduced two new colors for the iPhone 13 lineup: green and alpine green, and for the first time in two years, it did not release a purple iPhone.

There are rumors that the iPhone 14 Pro is equipped with an A16 chip, while regular models can support A15 Bionic. Along with that, the camera bump is likely to be bigger thanks to an improved 48MP main sensor.

In particular, the iPhone 14 Pro Max will be slightly smaller than the previous generation, with a width of 77.58mm. The height will decrease by 0.1 mm and is now 160.7 mm. And, as said before, it will get a little thicker with the increased bump on the camera sensor.

On a personal note, I’ve been using the new color options for the latest iPhones and I have one complaint: how difficult it is to match them with cases. I think the iPhone 13 Pro Sierra Blue only goes well with green cases, while the Graphite or Silver model definitely goes well with any case color.

With a purple iPhone 14 Pro, I think it would be odd to pair it with MagSafe accessories like a MagSafe wallet, leather cases, and silicone cases. But that’s just my opinion.

Would you consider buying a purple iPhone 14 Pro? If yes, why? Is there enough color for an upgrade? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
