Update 1.0.5 fights cheaters and various bugs

The first update for Evil Dead: The Game is here. On the PS5, the file size is 700MB, compared to 450MB on the previous console. The following patch notes reveal the improvements that will be introduced.

The patch notes in the overview

Stability:

• Various fixes to combat cheats such as speed hacks, health regeneration, fake nicknames, and character model change have been implemented. A major anti-cheat fix is ​​coming soon in another update.
• Fixed an exploit that allowed players to cancel animations to perform actions faster than intended.
• Improved server stability.
• Various bug fixes and improvements.

Missions:

• Fixed a crash after closing the pause menu on the objective “Find a way out of the pit” in mission 5.

Demon:

• Fixed bug with loss of input when a possessed unit dies.

survivors:

• Updated balancing of Cheryl’s healing attributes.
• Updated the balancing of Ash’s healing attributes from Evil Dead 1.
• Adjusted stats for Amanda’s Champion: Pistol ability
• Fixed an issue that caused inputs to be lost when survivors were possessed by demons, exited vehicles, or attempted to pick up full stacks of items.
• Fixed an issue that caused a survivor to become immortal if they died or used a healing item in the storm.
• Fixed an issue where Survivors could deal 1M damage to Demons and Deadites.
