Announced at the end of 2021, the Wild Update is Minecraft’s next major update, bringing a plethora of new stuff. Since its announcement, players have been waiting for only one thing: to have a release date. This is now the case, since Mojang has just blocked a date.

Finally a release date for the Wild Update

The good news is that you won’t have to wait very long, since this update will be deployed on June 7th, to find a launch window that Minecraft players know a little better. Unlike Caves & Cliffs, everything will be delivered in one go.

As for the content, as always, it will be substantial. We will have the right to two biomes, the famous Deep Dark, and the mangroveallowing you to discover several mobs, although the fireflies are unfortunately no longer in the game. The frogs (and tadpole), the warden or the Allay will make their arrival in the cubic world. Several long-awaited features will also be available, such as the famous boat with trunk, in order to store much more things when you go on an expedition, while new crafts are introduced. To learn more about the content of this update, you can refer to our article recap of what’s new in the Wild Update.

Naturally, this update will be available on all platforms that Minecraft can be played on, be it Bedrock Edition or Java. See you on June 7 to find out for ourselves.
