Alexander Zverev’s poor season continued on Wednesday when the German number one lost to Danish teenager Holger Rune 6-3, 6-2 at the ATP tournament in Munich. Two-time tournament winner Zverev received a bye in the first round as the top seed but the world number three had no answers to the unheralded 18-year-old, who sits at 70 in the rankings.
