IT House News on April 26, according to Xinhua News Agency, April 24 is the “China Space Day”. It was learned at the “Prospect” theme forum that Quantutong Location Network Co., Ltd. announced the launch of the construction project of the “Dragon Map” constellation system. The project will launch and operate 100 low-orbit satellites,It aims to provide customized satellite services for multiple industries such as express logistics, petroleum and petrochemical, electric power, communication and rail transit.

According to IT Home, the “Dragon Map” constellation system is a dedicated platform composed of hundreds of low-orbit small satellites. As a research and development project of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone,The scale of investment will reach 2.5 to 3 billion yuan. Each satellite weighs 200 kilograms, and a single satellite is worth 20 million.

According to Zhang Di, chairman of Quantutong Location Network Co., Ltd., the project will set up a satellite measurement and control station operation platform in the Beijing Economic Development Zone, and set up measurement and control centers and operation platforms in the central and western parts of the country, as well as in Brazil, Nepal and other overseas countries.

According to reports, for the communications industry,The satellite provides remote sensing low-orbit satellite communication for the sparsely populated western regions and mountainous areas such as Tibet and Qinghai, and improves the ground communication conditions to the height of the satellite to meet the needs of coverage and local communication customization in areas where 5G signals are insufficient.; For the rail transportation industry, satellite implements a new application service model on the logistics, takeaway, and express delivery platforms, realizing the management of people and materials in urban rail transit and the dispatching services for the UAV platform in the transportation of dangerous goods.

“Commercial aerospace and aerospace commercialization is to be open and transparent to make satellites, to clearly understand aerospace, to make the value of each satellite public and transparent, and to create real commercial value under the premise of fairness and openness.” Zhang Di said.

According to public information, Quantutong, established in April 2016, is based on a national network of Beidou ground-based augmentation system, and integrates satellite remote sensing technology, communication technology, Internet of Things technology, big data cloud service and other technologies to successfully develop indoor high-precision. Positioning to meet the application needs of people’s travel and high-precision navigation service industries.
