San Francisco, California – April 27, 2022 – Pikmin Bloom welcomes the new “Weekly Challenge” feature worldwide this Thursday, April 28!
Via the new “Activity” tab of available on game home screen, discover a list of activities to complete with your friends. Players can select the challenge they want to participate in and set the group of friends they want to join to start the weekly challenge. It is possible to participate in only one weekly challenge per week.
The “Friends” feature makes its appearance in Pikmin Bloom and allows you to add friends using a 12-digit code or a QR Code. On the “Friends” tab, players will access avatars, account names, and the number of steps their friends have taken ! It is also possible to send postcards.
From April 28, it will be time to have fun with even the most distant friends by participating together in the Weekly Challenges
This week’s Weekly Challenge is to reach the number of steps indicated in the theme of the week with your friends. Players will receive rewards for participating in the Weekly Group Challenge and completing the goal. And even in case of failure, each player will receive still a participation bonus. More types of challenges will be added to the Weekly Challenge in the future.
Niantic has also present a new Pikmin Scenery (Snack) for the greatest pleasure of the players!
